Susannah Fout Joins the Sunstates Team

as Regional Manager for Arizona and Colorado

 

Sunstates welcomes Susannah Fout to the team as Regional Manager for the growing states of Arizona and Colorado.  She brings almost 30 years in the security field with over 25 in a management role.

Background

Susannah’s security career started spending six years in museum security before moving to contract security.  As a Branch Manager for a large national company, Susannah had direct oversight for 12+ salaried managers and indirect oversight for 300+ security officers statewide.  She reviewed and approved invoices and expense reports, developed and maintained client relationships and payroll oversight for 300+ employees.  In addition, she performed Human Resources functions, including interviewing, hiring, processing and terminating salaried and hourly employees.

In her role prior to Sunstates, Susannah was a Security Account Manager.  Her duties included direct oversight for 70 security officers, submitting weekly payroll summaries, and creating policy and procedure.  In addition, she expanded her knowledge on Active Shooter, Workplace Violence and Evacuation plans.

As a Regional Manager, Susannah will grow and manage an operations team and is responsible for a portfolio of clients spanning the Phoenix, Denver and other developing markets in the area.  Her extensive management skills, communications capabilities, and industry knowledge make her an excellent fit for her new role.

Education

Susannah graduated from Indiana University with a BA in Criminal Justice.  Her promotions kept her on the move from Indianapolis to Kansas City to Santa Clara, CA, and then finally stopped in Phoenix in 2003.  Sunstates is excited to have her on the team and looks forward to her growing the region.
