Sunstates Welcomes Laura LaVigne
as Office Administrator
Sunstates is pleased to announce Laura LaVigne has joined the corporate office team as Office Administrator. Laura is an ideal addition with almost 20 years of administrative experience, including customer service, sales, scheduling, and C-Suite Management support.
Laura’s role immediately before joining Sunstates was at a healthcare solutions company where she was the Executive Administrative Assistant. In this position, she answered incoming calls, maintained multiple databases, processed on-boarding for the healthcare professionals, oversaw client schedules, completed monthly reporting for the company VP and more. Prior, Laura was an Office Manager; she sorted and distributed mail, handled international shipping logistics, managed office supplies inventory and equipment, oversaw purchase order processing and more. Additional skills acquired from preceding positions include arranging domestic and international travel, submitting expense reports, answering incoming calls from customers and vendors, preparing meeting documents and agendas, and the list goes on.
Office Administrator Role
As the Officer Administrator at Sunstates, Laura will perform many similar tasks from her previous positions. Those tasks include answering incoming calls, sorting and distributing mail, managing office supplies, assisting with executive travel plans, and maintaining and updating appointment calendars. Additionally, she will perform many other tasks and take on new ones as they are established.
Laura received her Associate of Science in Marketing from St. Petersburg College. She is a certified notary and has her CPR certification as well. She is proficient in applications including Concur, Microsoft programs, Quickbooks and Project Management. Laura’s organizational skills, collaborative teamwork, and strong problem-solving abilities will be essential for her new role.
