Sunstates Named Best Midsize Employer 2022

Forbes has named Sunstates Security one of America’s Best Midsize Employers of 2022, attaining recognition for the second year in a row.  Based in Raleigh, N.C., the national provider of security personnel services is honored to be recognized in the industry category of professional services and is one of only two security officer service providers included. This year the company jumped up the list to spot 235.

Best Midsized Employer 2022 Requirements

Forbes annually partners with market research firm Statista to assess companies based on reported employee experience.  Statista surveyed 60,000 Americans working for companies with at least 1,000 employees.  The employees have not been consulted via their employers but anonymously through several online panels.  By doing so, the employee could openly state their opinion, avoiding any influence from their employer.  Surveys asked participants their willingness to refer their employer or if there were a different employer they would recommend.  Furthermore, the employees were asked questions about work-related topics such as working conditions, salary, the potential for development, and company image regarding their current employer.
