Robbie Gardner Celebrates 20 Years at Sunstates
Hired by President Glenn Burrell 20 years ago, Robbie Gardner is still representing the Sunstates team today. Situated in Charlotte, Robbie has been at the same logistics and transportation site his whole Sunstates career. Not only does the client recognize his hard work and dedication, so does his team.
Timothy Benton, Operations Manager states, “I have worked with Robbie Gardner for a year in a half. Robbie sets the example when it comes to dedication, devotion, and dependability. In the time I have worked with Robbie he has been nothing but an essential resource. Robbie has taught me what it takes to be a true Sunstates Officer.”
Why Sunstates Security?
Being at any company for over 20 years is a huge accomplishment. We asked Officer Gardner what does he like most about working for Sunstates Security? Gardner replied that he loves working with people and that it brings him joy. Every day he gets to meet new people working with us and with such a big smile and welcoming demeanor we are sure everyone enjoys meeting him as well!
Any Advice for New Officers?
Having 20 years under his belt, it is safe to say Officer Gardner is an expert in the security field. When asked what advice he would give to a new officer he simply said, “Take your time, be patient, be understanding, and finally be open to learning.” Robbie works great with new officers and is always willing to help them whenever needed.
Regional Manager, Vincent J. Esposito states “Having a strong work ethic involves upholding the values and goals of the company by performing your job to the best of your ability. It means focusing on completing assigned tasks on time, maintaining a positive and professional attitude, and keeping yourself and other team members motivated even during challenging circumstances. Robbie has exemplified this premise for the last 20 years, and he is a model for all that Sunstates Security stands for.”
Leisure Time Activities
Finally, we asked Robbie what he liked to do outside of work. His answer was anything outside. He enjoys being outdoors and working in his yard. If he puts the same work ethic into his yard as he does on his site, we are sure it looks amazing!
Congrats!
Thanks, Officer Gardner for your 20 years of service. We appreciate your loyalty and devotion to your site and Sunstates.
