ROB BOYD PROMOTED TO CHARLOTTE, N.C. BRANCH MANAGER

CHARLOTTE, N.C., January 24, 2014-Sunstates Security has promoted Rob Boyd to Branch Manager. Rob Boyd joined Sunstates Security in 2013 as an Operations Manager for the Charlotte, N.C. branch. In that role he successfully performed administration and efficient daily functioning of a full-service branch office, including operations, budget, new business development, customer service, personnel management, security and safety in accordance with Sunstates’ objectives.

January 2014, Rob was promoted to Branch Manager where he is responsible for administration and day to day functions of the busy full-service Charlotte branch office. Additionally, he will actively be involved in all aspects of the operations, budgets, new business development, and customer service and personnel management for the areas supported by the Charlotte, N.C. branch office.

Prior to joining Sunstates Security, Rob began his career by joining the Air Force as a Military Policeman protecting nuclear missile sites and then as a videographer with Combat Camera Services and Special Forces Intelligence. After serving his country for 20 years he settled in North Carolina and became a Regional Vice President with a contract security company overseeing the security operations for malls in seven states. Rob then joined another contract security company as a District Manager for the Charlotte area. A West Virginia native, Rob graduated from Community College of the Air Force with a degree in Visual Information.

Rob’s key achievements include earning various military achievement and leadership awards while serving the United States Air Force. He is also a member of the American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS).
