RALEIGH, N.C., December 16, 2016—Sunstates Security has promoted several key team members at its corporate headquarters in Raleigh, N.C. The new opportunities reward individuals who have excelled in their previous roles, rising to the challenges presented by the company’s sustained organic growth, which has averaged 24% during the past five years.
Roberta Scoblick has been promoted to Business Development and Marketing Director. The new role reflects the increased responsibilities she embraced as Business Development and Marketing Manager, due to the company’s continued expansion. With more than 30 years of industry experience, Scoblick excels at representing Sunstates in marketing efforts and in interpersonal relationships with prospects and clients.
Chris Burrell will become Corporate Support and Development Manager. In his previous role as Operations Manager, Burrell has worked closely with clients and Sunstates personnel in the field. His new position will support the various departments at the corporate headquarters, providing as-needed assistance to fulfill the rapidly evolving demands of a growing organization.
Laura Hall has been promoted to Human Resources Manager. Since joining Sunstates as Corporate Recruiter, Laura has supported all Sunstates offices in using the firm’s human resource information system. Not only has she distinguished herself in her current role, but Hall has also taken on additional responsibilities within the department. Her role will expand to include oversight of both corporate recruiting and benefits management.
Daejia Hood will serve as Legal and Compliance Manager, based on her exceptional performance as Legal and Compliance Administrator. After joining the firm in a support role, she now leads the legal and compliance program at Sunstates. The advancement acknowledges her increased contributions, which will become more important as Sunstates enters new states with new licensing requirements.
“These men and women have proven themselves through dedicated performance, and it’s a pleasure to reward them with new career opportunities,” says Denis J. Kelly, Chief Operating Officer of Sunstates Security. “We thank you for your service and look forward to your future contributions.”
