TRAINING & SAFETY
EXEMPLARY TRAINING STANDARDS
Every Sunstates security officer undergoes initial and ongoing training that meets or exceeds the most stringent standards. We also regularly add mandatory training to prepare our officers for new situations, such as pandemic health measures, riot/civil unrest management, and other topics.
Additionally, each Sunstates officer must pass regular, site-specific audits based on client requirements. To increase the overall value provided by the security program at each site, our officers are cross-trained to fulfill multiple roles and responsibilities to be readily available at a moment’s notice.
SUNSTATES SECURITY
A COMPREHENSIVE TRAINING STRATEGY
The strategy for our training program resulted from our leadership team’s collective industry expertise, which spans hundreds of years. Instead of taking a one-size-fits-all approach to training, we have a steadily expanding library of more than 350 courses that form the building blocks of an effective training program. Since security professionals cannot stop to deliberate or to consult handbooks when confronted with a safety issue or potential threat, we train them to apply lessons absorbed through countless hours of training, drills and preparation.
Our training program combines best practices from both the U.S. and Europe, representing every level of law enforcement, as well as the private security sector. Our Legal and Compliance Department confirms that every Sunstates officer meets all government-mandated training and certification requirements, as well as your standards.
A CUSTOM CURRICULUM
During the transition process, our management team works with you to identify the best combination of training courses for officers on your site. We develop a custom training curriculum that addresses your needs and integrates a combination of classroom and hands-on training to facilitate education effectively.
As a Sunstates client, you can rest assured that every officer on your team meets a rigorous training standard and is fully prepared for the challenges of the assignment.
