Security Officer Larry Leonard celebrated 15 years at Sunstates Security! Posted at a commercial property in downtown Raleigh he has been a great resource to the team. We asked Officer Leonard a few questions about his 15 years with the company.

When hired back in 2005, Larry stated he felt a positive vibe from the supervisor and enjoyed his demeanor, knowledge of the job, and overall character. One thing that stands out in his long career with the company is that someone from the Sunstates organization helps him commute to and from his post during extreme weather conditions.

Larry’s Words of Wisdom

Officer Leonard has this advice to someone starting the job, “Learn the job, be patient, work hard, and this possibly can be a career in the making.” Before wearing the Sunstates uniform, Larry performed maintenance work but has since found his passion for security.
