Sunstates Bids Farewell to Queen Elizabeth II

 

 

The world remains deeply saddened by the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. Here at Sunstates, the queen’s death feels especially personal. Like so many Britons, President Glenn Burrell and CEO Kathy Burrell have known no other monarch.

 

Part of Glenn’s police service included Royalty Protection Duty at Sandringham House, the personal estate owned by the royal family. “I met the Queen and other family members on multiple occasions, and I have extremely fond memories of my time in service serving the Royal Family,” he said.

 

Decades after emigrating from the UK to the United States, Glenn vividly recalls his encounters with the queen. “It was an absolute honor and privilege to have been a part of the police security team protecting her and the family. It was the highlight of my entire career, both in the public and private sector.”
