Sunstates Security Promotes Da’Von McClure

To Regional Manager

 

As an experienced security professional with a solid track record of public safety and security-related success, Da’Von continues to grow within the company.  Joining the Sunstates Security team in 2018, Da’Von has recently been promoted to Senior Operations Manager in the Savannah GA region.  Shortly after he was awarded Regional Manager. 

With over 10 years of contract security experience, he is a strong leader with proven capabilities to develop and implement industry best practice strategies that support business and financial objectives.

 

Da’Von’s Strengths

Da’Von’s areas of expertise include personnel management, comprehensive design planning, and implementation of strategic security programs that provide operational excellence. In his current role, Da’Von is responsible for hiring, payroll administration and human resources functions. He assists with policy development and implementation, creates and analyzes a variety of reporting metrics, and performs regular audits of officers and sites to ensure regulatory compliance. In addition to his primary job functions, Da’Von also serves as Team Leader of regional situational response team (SMARRT), a role in which he is responsible for collaborating operational deployment of available security resources based on the safety/security needs and objectives of clients in response to an emergent situation.

 

Degrees and Certifications

Da’Von holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Technology and a Project Management – Lean Process Certification. He is a certified firearms trainer and Basic Life Support instructor and has participated in numerous management and FEMA Independent Study courses. The combination of his diverse knowledge base and proven implementation of strategic security tactics make him an invaluable asset to the Sunstates Security management team.
