Sunstates Security Supports Coats for Children Drive 2024
This holiday season, Sunstates Security proudly again supported The Salvation Army of Wake County for the annual “Coats for Children” drive held by WRAL. This vital campaign provides warm winter coats and clothing to children in need throughout the Triangle region.
Sunstates Gives Back
Sunstates Security recognizes the importance of giving back to the community and is committed to making a positive impact. By supporting the Coats for Children Drive, we hope to ensure that every child has the opportunity to stay warm and safe during the winter months.
We encourage others to join us in supporting this worthy cause. Donations of new or gently used coats can be made at various drop-off locations throughout the community. Additionally, they are still raising funds. See below for more details.
Thanks to the generosity of donors, including a contribution from Sunstates Security presented by CEO Denis Kelly during the December 20th telethon, WRAL successfully raised a substantial amount of money to provide essential winter items for those in need.
Without help from the community, drives like this wouldn’t be possible. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of children in need.

History of the Coats for Children Drive
Thank you to WRAL, to the many volunteers, and to the Raleigh community for another great year of providing to those in need. A long-standing partnership between WRAL and The Salvation Army of Wake County, the Coats for Children initiative has been providing vital support to families in need for over 35 years.
Since 1998, Raleigh has been home to Sunstates Security. As we’ve grown as a company, our commitment to the Wake County community has remained steadfast.
