CHRIS COUCH, DIRECTOR OF NATIONAL ACCOUNTS, COMPLETES ARMED SECURITY OFFICER (ASO) COURSE

CHARLOTTE, N.C., March 22, 2015 —Sunstates Security is proud to announce that Chris Couch, Director of National Accounts, recently completed the Armed Security Officer (ASO) Course offered by the Federal Air Marshal Service. The training is part of a program that allows general aviation flights to land at Reagan International Airport if they have a trained ASO on board. This elite training program requires that applicants have current or prior law enforcement training, be sponsored by a company and pass an in-depth physical prior to being accepted into the program. The comprehensive training consists of classroom, firearms and defensive tactics training, and requires annual ongoing firearms qualification and compliance with aviation-grade physical standards. Chris was sponsored in this endeavor by Sunstates’ largest client, a beverage manufacturer and distributor; due to Chris’ ASO status, they will now be able to fly their company aircraft into Reagan Airport when he is on board.
