California Regional Manager

Matt Crosswhite joined Sunstates Security in 2020 as the Regional Manager in the California market, bringing with him a decade of security experience. He began his career by serving in the Army National Guard as a Military Policeman in 2010. This prepared Matt for his private security career beginning as a security officer, where he performed at a high level earning him promotions through the ranks of site-level management and excelled him into Branch and Regional Management roles. In his various roles, Matt has managed operations of 300+ employees with $10 million+ of annual revenue. During his time in the National Guard, Matt received an Army Achievement Medal for surpassing the Security Forces mission expectations during the 2012 EANGUS Conference and other company-level recognitions. In his private career, Matt has received awards for providing outstanding client services and providing excellent branch operational support.

Early in his career, Matt was awarded the opportunity to provide contract security services as an Assistant Manager for a California-based transportation company. Due to his success, Matt was promoted into the role of Operations Manager, for which he remotely managed over 40 unique client locations and a staff exceeding 300 personnel. Following, Matt accepted a role as a Branch Manager with a national contract security company where he managed the Orange County market. He was responsible for leading field and office staff to include security officers, site supervisors and managers, HR/administrative staff, and an Operations Manager. Later, he accepted an Area Security Manager role overseeing operations in Southern California for a contract with a prestigious global client. Most recently, as a result of his success as an Area Manager, Matt was promoted into the role of Client Services Manager where he was responsible for the entire Southern California market for the same contract security company.

Matt brings with him a high level of integrity and a passion for providing the best possible customer and employee experience. He believes that following through on his commitments to build and maintain trust while delivering a boutique-style of client service is imperative to his continued success as a professional relationship manager.
