To Regional Director

 

Joining the Sunstates management team as a Dallas Regional Manager in 2017, Joel was promoted to Regional Director in 2021. In his current role, he has oversight of a portfolio of clients and security team members throughout the Dallas, San Antonio, and Austin, TX markets, as well as the state of CA. He is responsible for oversight of all operations across his region to include management team coaching and training, ensuring customer satisfaction, and meeting budgetary goals.

Joel has almost 10 years of experience in the contract security industry as well as a strong background in business development, customer service and risk management. Joel began his security career as a Branch Manager for a large national company where he managed a team of over 100 officers and support staff and was responsible for a multi-million-dollar portfolio of clients. Following this, he moved on to become the President of a locally based security firm, a role in which he doubled the gross margin percentage, increased EBITA and improved client retention. His proven success as a leader combined with strong communication, customer service and budgetary management make him an ideal fit for the Sunstates Security team. 

Joel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Vanguard University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.
